Our Services

  • Skills Training

Skills training involves teaching individuals specific techniques and strategies to handle stress, manage emotions and navigate challenges in healthy ways. These coping skills are essential for helping individuals reduce the impact of stressors, respond effectively to triggers and maintain emotional stability. By building these skills, clients are better equipped to handle daily life, avoid relapse and enhance their overall well-being.

  • Medication Management

Psychiatric medication management is a structured, collaborative process that involves prescribing, monitoring and adjusting psychiatric medications to help individuals effectively manage their mental health symptoms. This process involves ongoing communication between the client and a medical staff (our psychiatrist or one of our nurse practitioners) to ensure that the medication regimen is safe, effective and aligned with the client’s treatment and recovery.

  • Medication Training

Medication training involves educating individuals about their diagnosis, symptoms and prescribed psychiatric medications as well as providing ongoing assistance to ensure safe, effective and consistent use of medication as part of their overall treatment and recovery. This is particularly important because understanding medication, its effects and managing adherence are often essential for symptom management, recovery and quality of life.

  • Case Management

Case management is a collaborative, client-centered approach that involves coordinating various services and supports to help individuals with mental health conditions achieve their recovery goals. Qualified Mental Health Professionals work closely with clients to identify needs, connect them with appropriate resources, and provide ongoing support, often serving as advocates to ensure their clients receive consistent and integrated care.

  • Psychosocial Rehabilitation

Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR) is a therapeutic approach that aims to help adults with mental health conditions develop the skills, confidence and social supports necessary to live independently, engage meaningfully in society and achieve personal goals. PSR is particularly relevant for individuals with serious and persistent mental health conditions as the focus is to enhance their quality of life and promote recovery beyond symptom management.

  • Crisis Intervention

Crisis intervention involves providing immediate support to an individual experiencing a severe mental health crisis, with the goal of stabilizing symptoms to prevent harm to themselves and others. This process prioritizes rapid assessment, de-escalation and connection to resources, focusing on addressing acute distress and helping the individual regain a sense of control. A key aspect of crisis intervention is ensuring that the person remains in the least restrictive environment, which means avoiding hospitalization if possible.
